Hello out there! Here I sit on October 15 and there are still some flowers around for me to enjoy! That iris was a total surprise. The cosmos are always a favorite and the lobelia planted itself. I love when that happens.
The sun is shining (so thankful) and I've missed this little spot so I've decided to post. It took me a minute to get the photos sorted because once you stop posting, they go and change things and you have to remember or figure it out again.
It seems this platform continues to change and expand and of course I can't keep up with it. There are so many people joining and writing and streaming. It's all so great. I do still long for the “old days" of static blog posts. I guess that's what this is today.
I guess the older we get the more we look to the past through rose colored glasses. That's fine for me. I'm totally okay with not being up on all the latest and greatest.
I'm nearly done with a new sweater. I'm using yarn that has been in my stash for a very long time! Mine is the striped version and it's working up so fast. I've just a small amount left of the second sleeve. Just in time to cozy up in it when the chill in the air arrives.
I think I will end it here and come back soon. I'd like to start a new garment and socks! Well, I hope things are well in your world. How's the weather there? Chilly? Hot? Sunny? Be back soon.

So, so lovely, Dana.
Today is damp and dreary. A perfect cozy inside day.
Maybe I (finally) need to learn to knit for real. Did you say you learned on Craftsy? Do you have a favorite resource (or resources?) for learning how to knit? (Could be a good future blog post?).
